General
Guidelines for Curbside Recycling
- Use
blue bags only for recyclables, not for garbage
- Use
two blue bags for recycling
-1st bag for paper products
-2nd bag for cans and plastic
- Tie
tops of blue bags to keep recyclables clean and dry
- Contact
your refuse hauler for pick up schedule
- Absolutely
no glass will be collected at curbside
- Do
not mix paper with either cans or plastics; use 2 blue bags
- Look
on the bottom of plastic containers for the plastic codes
- Blue
bag recycling at curbside is a cooperative effort between
your refuse hauler and the Solid Waste Department
- Blue
bags can be purchased at local stores
