Aroostook County Tourism Summit
9:30 am - 2:00 pm

Are you a business owner? Museum or cultural organization? Trailmaster or event promoter?
Aroostook County Tourism invites you to attend the one-day summit held in central Aroostook at the Hidden Spring Winery. This summit is free of charge and all are invited. Refreshments and lunch are provided. Registration is requested, but not required.
Aroostook County is the largest of the eight tourism regions as designated by the Maine Office of Tourism. By working together we can amplify our marketing message to attract visitation, recreation, and tourism to the Crown of Maine. Aroostook County Tourism promotes and markets the region using a multimedia marketing campaign spanning all four seasons. Please review Aroostook County Tourism’s work prior to the meeting as it may spark new ideas and how your organization can be part of our message.
There is no Zoom option for this meeting as this is an important piece of in-person networking and collaboration for the tourism industry in Aroostook with statewide organizations. We invite you to share your ideas, experiences, and vision. By working together we can achieve more.
Save The Date: 9-2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 13th
The 2026 Aroostook County Tourism Summit is Sponsored By: Northern Maine Development Commission, The Maine Office of Tourism, and Maine Department of Economic & Community Development.
Of all visitors to Maine, only 7% came to Aroostook County
We think that the businesses, trails, parks, and attractions here are ready to double that number! We can only do it if we all work together. Last year Maine saw a decrease in summer time visitation, but in the same period, visitation to The County doubled – how did that happen? We’re going to talk about that. We’ll discuss the advertisements and repetition to influence people from Halifax, Machias, Bangor, Kittery, Boston, Albany, and Scranton to visit the top of New England. How do the local towns and business owners get represented in this and why aren’t they plugged in?
