Maine PTAC provides training and technical assistance to local businesses statewide so they can find, win, and perform on government contracts. As part of a nationwide network of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs), our partnerships and in-depth knowledge of government contracting help you successfully sell your goods or services to the government.
Our goal at Northern Maine Development Commission is to better advise and inform northern Maine’s small business community of the various local, state, and federal contract opportunities that are available to all qualifying companies.
Nationwide PTAC clients were awarded 188,000 contracts worth $20 billion last year. We offer group trainings, individualized counseling sessions, and technical assistance to help you join in their success. Our Procurement Counselors work with you to obtain registrations and certifications, match you with contracting opportunities, prepare you for bids, and help you manage your contract post-award.
